HR Shared Services Project Manager

 

Background:

Our client is currently in the middle of an extremely large HCM ERP Consolidation Project in which over 30, 000 employees coming from various legacy systems will be going onto a new version of Success Factors for their overall HCM system, as well as Kronos V8 for their Time Tracking system. 

Our client has grown rapidly and extensively through acquisitions over the past several years and are close to the finish line in terms or getting these acquired companies consolidated onto the Corporate ERP Applications (Success Factors, Kronos, etc). 

A few of these larger acquired organizations are still live and are running on PeopleSoft for HCM and a different version of Kronos (V7), and a few other organizations are running Lawson, and various other applications. 

Our client has recently created a brand new HR Shared Services Center that is responsible for fielding questions / issues from these acquired organizations as they go through this conversion from their legacy business processes and legacy systems, to our client’ s Corporate Business Processes and Corporate ERP applications, Success Factors & Kronos. 

Project Description:

Our client is looking for an HR Shared Services Project Manager who is very familiar with the Agile Methodologies and experienced with as many of these HR Systems as possible; most importantly PeopleSoft, Kronos, Lawson, SaaS applications, Cloud Applications, and Success Factors. 

It is also important that this person have experience working with very large organizations, ideally 30, 000 employees plus.  It is also important that this person have a complete understanding of End-to-End HR Business Processes.  Everything from Employees requesting time off, benefits for various levels and types of employees, experiences with Union employees as well as field employees, PTO, Compensation, Open Enrollment, processing Payroll, and anything else. 

Additionally, interface will be required with project stakeholders and project team members- those who will provide requirements, information, and consultation – to include (but not limited to) HRIS, HR, Payroll, and other Program Management personnel. 

Ideally this person will have HR Application experience with a large HR ERP System as well as experience with the Kronos Application.  However, application experience isn’ t as important as true Project / Program Management Experience.  This person must have experience managing projects providing support to business and/or HR systems.

 

Required:
 
  • HR Systems Project Management Experience: 10-15 years
  • PMP Certified
  • Expert level understanding of HR Business Processes & Time Tracking Applications
  • HRIT Project / Program Manager Experience
  • Experience working with organization with 10, 000 employees plus
  • Kronos Project Management Experience
  • SuccessFactors experience is a plus
  • Data Conversion / System Consolidation / Acquisition Project Manager Experience
  • Multiple FLC’ s
  • Basic technical knowledge of HR ERP Systems
  • Well spoken
  • Ability to be assertive and direct, yet empathetic, ability to work with different types of personalities throughout all levels of the organization effectively
