Program Description:

Our client is prime on a contract supporting a government customer. This candidate will be part of a team that provides 24x7 watch desk support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The Intel Analyst will be joining a mission essential team that provides 24x7 watch desk support. The main responsibility of this team is system monitoring and reporting. The analyst will be responsible for configuring collection systems, provide collection summary reports, document and distribute summaries of watch events and define collection problems.

The analyst should also be prepared to
  • Maintain and update thorough knowledge and/or capabilities of all sites to include end-to-end data flow
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and success of the tasking as it applies to configuring customer systems
  • Respond in a timely manner to queries and ensure feedback is provided
  • Provide recommendations to engineers, analysts and computer scientists for acquiring, maintaining and improving access

The ideal candidate will have extensive intel analysis experience including producing research and analysis, performance assessments, analyzing resource allocation and assessing satisfaction levels of requirements.

Required Skills:
  • Must have a BS and 10 years of intelligence analysis experience in a professional environment (4 years of intel analyst experience can be substituted for the BS)
  • Must have 3 years with at least one of the following:
    • producing research and analysis
    • performance assessments
    • analyzing resource allocation
    • assessing satisfaction levels of requirements
  • Must have experience in at least 2 of the following technical areas:
    • Tasking strategies
    • Radio communications procedures
    • Understanding collection requirements process
    • Basic signals analysis and identification
    • Functions and operations of electronic equipment
    • Reporting formats and procedures
    • Basic computer operations and directives for handling
    • Distributing and protecting defense information
    • Telecommunications knowledge and experience
    • Cryptologic systems operations
    • Mission management responsibilities and related cryptologic activities
