Kronos Application Engineer
Kronos Application Analyst
Our client is a global organization live on Kronos v6.3 with Time & Attendance, Scheduling, PTO, PTO Policy, and Labor Levels globally in more than 10 countries. They have a variety of projects that they need assistance with. They are currently live on one application globally but they would like to break it down into separate applications by continent. They would also like to add new countries into their Kronos application(s) that are currently not live on Kronos yet. On top of all of this, they are planning an upgrade to v8.0. The environment is highly customized and they have over 100 interfaces. Their interfaces occur once every two hours per country as opposed to other companies where their systems might interface once a day. Because the company is so large, ideally they would have worked for a very large company but if they can explain and articulate on an interview how to scale to a much larger company and the proper steps, that is sufficient.
Application Analysts will interact with business customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements. They will perform gap analysis to determine the Kronos suite' s system configuration and development changes. They will also create detailed functional and technical design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary. They will develop scalable and efficient interfaces, custom reports, and other programs needed to solve business requirements. Enforce SDLC process so that timely and quality delivery is achieved.
Candidates will need experience in HR or Payroll systems design, development, and support. They will also need experience with Kronos Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) or similar data integration tool. They must have a proven ability to apply best practices to the software development lifecycle based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches, as well as effective coordination of implementations across teams using very different approaches.
Candidates must have very strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable global solutions.
