Medical Device Portfolio Project Management SME (Partially Remote)

Environment:

Our client is a leading medical device manufacturer of Medical Devices and they are currently working to strategize  an RFP for potentially acquiring a PPM software.

Roles/Responsibilities:

The client is in need of a Portfolio Project Management SME to assist with two phases of their current project.

Phase 1: Look at the tools they currently have (Project Web Op. Server, Sharepoint, etc.) and perform a diagnostic evaluation to figure out if it is necessary to upgrade/implement new tools.

Phase 2: Once gaps are identified, provide insight into how they should approach those gaps and decide which tools would be most beneficial to their business. Must be able to evaluate the level of configuration needed.

 

Will need to act as a liaison between the client and the vendors up for consideration for their PPM software. This consultant will also work with the IS team throughout the duration of the project to ensure complete transparency and a successful implementation is completed. Will work to integrate Business Development, Upstream Marketing and Research & Development with PPM. Will have to look into what the client currently has, make recommendations of products that could benefit them, etc.

 

 Required:

-     Technical background

-     Product Portfolio Management experience

-      Experience leading/advising throughout a PPM implementation

Plus:

(Sopheon/Planisware experience)

MS Project Web App (PWA), sharepoint (these are their internal tools)
