PeopleSoft Functional HR Production Support

Environment:

The client is currently running v9.1 for PeopleSoft HCM. They run Time & Labor, Asset Management, Core HR, Base Benefits, and ePerformance. They are going to be implementing Workday starting in January, and want the full time team to focus on the implementation so they can keep the Workday knowledge in house. Because of this, they are looking for a Functional HR Consultant to assist in supporting day to day tasks on their legacy PeopleSoft environment.

Project Description:

This role will be 100% functional. The consultant can come from a technical background, but should have worked in a functional role in their last several projects. This person will not be taking part in the implementation project at all, so should be comfortable working in a 100% support role for the extent of this project. Day to day tasks will include:
  • Running and monitoring daily manual processes between PeopleSoft and third party applications for accuracy, such as Taleo and ADP.
  • Running/processing queries
  • Performing PTO assessment and audits as needed by users.
  • Assisting in new hire administration and audits.
  • Organizational changes as needed by business users
  • Assisting payroll in tasks for bi-weekly payroll run
  • Updates to employee information such as tax and licensing information

Although they use Taleo for recruiting and ADP for payroll, both are outsourced so experience with these will not be necessary. This person may have to interact with end users so good communication skills are a must.  

Required   Skills: 

5+ years Functional PeopleSoft HR experience

Time & Labor, Asset Management, Core HR, Base Benefits, and ePerformance experience

Production Support Experience

Strong understanding of HR Processes and Data: Knowledge of organizational development, change management and quality principles.

Query creation.

Systems implementation experience. Strong understanding of HR database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools
