Project Description: The client is currently live on PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 with Core HR, NA Payroll, Benefits, and Ben Admin. They also run Taleo for recruiting. They are currently doing a PUM update and will be releasing PUM image 22. They have some gaps that are arising within the testing of the update and need a PeopleSoft Tester with FasTest experience. This person will help with some of the overall strategy and hands on testing execution.
Day to Day Responsibilities: The PeopleSoft Tester will be 100% focused on testing for the PUM update. They will not need any actual configuration or functional skills, BUT must be a hands on expert with writing test scripts using the FasTest tool which automates the testing for the PeopleSoft system. They need someone who has experience testing on PUM image 22. The client would be looking for someone who can develop/administer tests with the tool. Requirements would most likely come from ISl.
This person will help with some of the development and execution of the overall test strategy related to the configuration of the new PeopleSoft HCM modules of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Ben Admin and Taleo integration. This person will be testing the application against the business requirements. This functional testing will be executed using the functional specifications given by the business users. The purpose of this role is to validate the behavior of the PeopleSoft Application. This person will spend part of their time helping the team develop test plans, cases, and strategy. They will then execute to these plans doing FasTest testing. This person will need to understand PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll enough to know if the test results are accurate according to what the system delivers.
