SAP HCM / HR Consultant - US & Canada
Overview: The client a large global organization in need of a strong SAP HCM / HR Functional Consultant with demonstrated experience across: Personnel Administration & Development; Time management with/without clocks times; Cross-Application Time Sheets (CATS), Gross to Net Canadian Payroll, Gross to Net US Payroll; Year End for US and Canada – Electronic Filing; US & Canadian Benefits; HCM Self Service ESS/MSS and portals including Fiori.
Project Description: The consultant hired will be working in a business HR system support mode, working with a predefined support process within the client’ s Hire-to-Retire (H2R) workstream. His or her responsibilities will include writing & maintaining necessary functional / technical documentation; conducting Fit/Gap analysis and business/process modeling for small enhancements and large projects; gathering requirements from functional business owners; designing robust business processes considering accepted industry practices; configuring and testing the software solution developed; driving the development of functional and systems specifications - reports, Interfaces, etc.
- SAP HCM / HR: 7+ years
- Demonstrated experience with Gross to Net Canadian Payroll, Gross to Net US Payroll; Year End for US and Canada – Electronic Filing; US & Canadian Benefits
- Strong configuration skills in SAP, including PCRs and Schemas, WTs characteristics, PE51 and HR Forms.
- CATS postings to PM/CO/PS; Work schedule rules and substitutions; Time Manager’ s Workplace
- Proficiency in configuring overtime and shift premium rules per union requirements; as well as proficiency in configuring vacation accruals, compensation and carry-over per union requirements
