Program Description

Our client is prime on a government program. The system is being developed in support of the Secretary of Defense’ s directive to implement a Joint Command & Control (JC2) Cyber capability platform that provides a unified, timely, and responsive capability that can fully enable Cyber Situational Awareness, Planning and Execution, Force Employment, Intelligence support to C2, and Information Sharing.

Day to Day Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing web-based applications in a Linux environment. The candidate must have a strong UI development background, experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks and good database skills. The Engineer must also have experience with AngularJS.

The team is using Java technologies including JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery, Bootstrap, Java services (JAX-RS and Spring MVC), maven, REST, Hibernate, JPA, JSP, Linux.

The team is creating a system that will create a cyberspace domain bridging element capability supporting standardized C2 Cyber activities. It is being built to be interoperable across department, service, or cyberspace partners. It is presently a prototype that has been approved to hold operational data. It is a fast paced project leveraging an Agile Development methodology.

Required:
  • Must fulfill labor category years of experience (see notes) 
  • MUST have Java Development experience
  • Spring
  • Java, and/or JavaScript

  • Strong automation experience
  • Cloud experience
  • TKB/CYBERLINX integration experience; AngularJS, Database interface experience and Front end design, Oracle, Web App, Web Design, Web Services, REST, JIRA, GreenHopper, Confluence, JAX-RS, context dependency injection (CDI), Maven, CSS, Lucene, Linux, Junit Testing, Jasmine Testing, GIT, OpenShift, EJB 3.0, Hibernate.
