The client is currently live on Kronos WFC v6.3 globally for a variety of modules including but not limited to Timekeeping, Attendance, Scheduler, Analytics, among others. The existing Kronos system has a population of around 700K employees and is highly customized. They are about to upgrade to WFC v8 and are in the process of building the team that will be doing the v8 upgrade. Because of this they need to hire consultants to build this team. They need consultants who are excited to join a team that is ready to attack a very complex upgrade project.
The Kronos Functional Analyst will interact with business customers (internal and external) to understand and document their business processes and requirements. They will need to analyze existing Kronos configurations and implements the changes required. They will also create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
This consultant should have experience doing Kronos WFC v8 upgrades for organizations with very large populations (at least 100K employees) where the Kronos system is highly customized and extremely complex.
They will work with WIM Developers, DBAs etc. to design and implement system modifications, work with QA team to get the product tested and therefore ensure successful delivery of the work products. FA’ s will coordinate work across diverse teams globally, including vendors that support HR business functions. They will need to develop functional test plans, Coordinate user acceptance testing and guide business users in testing.
They need someone who can successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously as well as participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team. They will work on cross functional projects with groups such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, Stock and Recruiting teams.
Functional Analysts will listen to what users have to say and represent their needs to the organization. They will keep their product backlog prioritized and updated, knowing exactly where they would apply an additional resource. They will anticipate bottlenecks, manage competing priorities, evaluate and make tradeoff decisions, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit. They will focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure key decisions, risks, issues, and status surrounding your solutions is clear to all.
