Workday HRIS Test Lead


Background: Client just began their Workday Implementation back in December. They are taking the phased approach:
  • Phase 1: Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Benefits
  • Phase 2: Time Tracking, Absence, and Talent
  • Phase 3: Payroll Compensation

Project: Right now they are still in phase 1 of the project and are looking for a Workday HRIS Test lead to come in and help out the other test lead. Because the current test lead is on the IT side of the project they want someone that is more functional and can help from the business side of things. This person will be responsible for helping with reviewing test cases, reaching out to the business side and performing end to end tests, UAT and user testing. Overall, they will be performing this testing throughout phase 3 of the implementation which is expected to go through 2019.

They should also be familiar with leading a team of testers in test script execution. This Workday Test Lead will be responsible for leading and facilitating the testing activities related to the Workday system implementation. They will oversee all test plans and test reports and directing the activities of testers on a day-to-day basis based on the project plan and required tasks.

  • Workday Test Lead  2-3 years
  • Experience leading HCM, Finance, Payroll testing
  • Experience with hands on payroll and benefit parallel testing 
  • Integration testing experience
  • Demonstrated experience driving a team
  • Assertiveness
  • Ability to work with business users, different teams, and the PMO
