Program Description:

Our client is prime on a contract supporting a government customer. This candidate will be part of a team responsible for a system in support of the customers cyber capability platform that provides a unified, timely, and responsive capability that enables Cyber Situational Awareness.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The System Administrator will perform UNIX/Linux administration for the environment. The admin will be responsible for administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration and performing backups. They will also be installing software.

The Admin will support the Rapid Response Center (RRC). The Admin should have demonstrated proficiency in administering the Linux Operating System, VMWare, and Windows Operating System. Strong understanding of basic Window’ s functions to include account administration, Active Directory, file sharing, and other common administrative activities. The Administrator will be working in customer service organization and have experience using common system monitoring such as Zabbix.

In addition, ideal candidates will have experience in using a help desk ticketing system such as SysAid or Service Now. The candidate must be willing to work in a mission critical essential position supporting 24x7 continuous operations.

Required Skills:
  • Linux/Windows – must have at least SOME Linux system administration/help desk support
  • VMware – Experience will vSphere Client/vSphere Web Client & View Client
  • Work with Active Directory in non-Windows environments (ex. Centrify)
  • Experience with remote command execution and Remote Desktop Connection to administer accounts (ex. SSH)
  • MUST HAVE SECURITY +
