Program Description:

Our client is primed on a government program that is seeking a Help Desk Technician  with networking experience to join a cutting-edge team in Arlington, VA.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

The help desk technician will provide  technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software.  They will provide  end-user software troubleshooting and support.  They will apply  diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.   As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the significant responsibilities placed upon them. Please be aware that because of these critical duties, you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring, and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures. Privileged Users are subject to a zero tolerance policy for security violations. Participates in special projects as required.

Required Skills:
  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years help desk exp.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or  equivalent DoD 8570 certification. 
  • Windows based
  • Have experience Installing, configuring, and upgrading  computer hardware and software.
  • Have experience providing  troubleshooting and support. 
  • Experience assisting  in the administration of e-mail systems.
  • Experience providing  phone and help-desk support for local and off-site users. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Desired Skills:
  • Associate' s Degree preferred.
  • Experience as a Help Desk Manager
