Linux Systems  Engineer

Program Description:

The contract is looking for an assertive and self-confident Systems Engineers to partner with the Software  team, program, and government customers to perform the duties as a Systems  Engineer  located in Ogden, UT. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The Systems  engineer will support Test & Assessment activities on ICBM systems.
This Systems Engineer will participate in component Aging Surveillance testing, taking on lead responsibilities where necessary (test readiness reviews,  post test data reviews). The systems engineer will lead Radio Frequency Sub System test and assessment activities. They will provide NNSA integration support, specifically with Pantex. The Systems Engineer will support various Flight Test preparations and activities (pre-flight briefings, flight  activities, post-flight analysis and data reviews).
Perform ICBM POG Subgroup activities/actions and integration.

Required skills:
  • Bachelor' s Degree in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, or similar engineering field. 
  • Minimum 1  year  experience with Linux systems and with complex software
  • Pantex integration/interaction experience
  • Test Engineering experience 
  • Technical writing experience, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired skills:
  • Minuteman III or ICBM system experience
  • Familiarity with Green Hills products (Specifically Green Hills 178b) 
  • NNSA integration/working experience
  • Experience with  Satellite Command and Control, Ground system architecture, and Comm Terminal Interface.
