Medical Device Radio Frequency Engineer
Our client is a large medical device company that makes and manufactures a variety of class III medical devices. They are currently working on an R&D initiative for a Class III implantable device with electromechanical components. They are in need of an RF Engineer to come in and support the project, providing RF expertise.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
This consultant will be responsible for providing expertise in Radio Frequency engineering for a class III implantable Medical Device R&D project. They will work with different groups to bring value to the project and proper guidance on the subject. This consultant should be an RF engineer well versed in RF simulation tools, benchtop RF measurements, fabrication and design of RF measurement fixtures, FCC part 15 regulations, as well as the specification, evaluation, and measurement of RF materials.
The project requires experience within a Medical Device manufacturing environment and an understanding of what it entails to be compliant to a company' s Quality System. Proper risk assessment will be executed during the project to ensure quality of the developed product.
