Medical Device Supply Chain Project Manager (Customs Compliance)
Our client is a large Medical Device manufacturer. They develop and manufacture a number of Class II & III orthopedic products. They are currently looking for a strong Project Manager to drive a Customs Compliance initiative.
Project Scope & Responsibilities:
The Customs Compliance Project Manager will be leading and driving the development and implementation of a new Customs Compliance Program for one of our client’ s business units. Specifically, they will be leading this effort by driving the collection of requirements and achieving alignment on Customs Compliance and Import & Export Compliance strategy with groups such as Supply Chain, Internal/External Manufacturing, Quality & Regulatory. The Project Manager will be responsible for tracking deliverables and timelines in Microsoft Project & Excel, providing status updates and project reports to upper management, organizing cross-departmental meetings on important issues, and creating some project rationale documentation. This will be someone with great communication skills who can build the relationships to push the project along effectively. This individual will come from a Medical Device Project Management background, and should have the following technical experience: Project Management, Supply Chain/Distribution/Logistics, Customs Compliance/Import & Export Compliance/Trade Compliance. It would be preferred if this individual has a PMP Certification.
