Oracle HCM Cloud BI Developer 

Environment: The client is currently live on Oracle HCM Cloud R12 for Core HR and Compensation. Payroll is run on ADP, Benefits is outsourced, and Performance and Absence Mgt is run on a 3rd party application. Due to a change in the management structure, they are hoping to be more data driven and want to get more information out of the Oracle HCM Cloud application. They are hoping to bring a BI Developer in to build new reports from scratch in order to get more information out of the existing application.

Day to Day: The consultant will partner with the management and HRIS team to build complex reports and extract data from Oracle HCM Cloud to a data warehouse. This consultant will have had to build reports from scratch for both Oracle Cloud Core HR as well as Compensation in the past.

An example of the reports they need to create is a report that encompasses all job changes for the entirety of the system. They also must be able to build reports around compensation changes.

The client also uses Tableau. While this person does not need to have Tableau experience, they will likely have to take data extracts, clean the data, and have it make sense so that they can put the data into tableau. They must have experience cleaning data in this fashion before.

This person will need to support other key stakeholders with ad hoc queries to support the business needs and regulatory reporting. They will also need to troubleshoot and resolve data validation, system, and performance issues.

Required:
  • Oracle Cloud Core HR & Compensation BI Development experience
  • Oracle HCM Cloud Certified
  • Ability to clean data extracts
  • Advanced experience with SQL Server Development Skills
  • Experience with databases, including handling large volumes of data

Plus:
  • Experience with ETL tools/process
