PeopleSoft HRIS Business Analyst 

Environment:

Our client is currently upgrading PeopleSoft HCM to v9.2 with their internal team and needs to hire a PeopleSoft resource to backfill their existing staff within the HRIS department to support the day to day functions of the system.

 

Day to Day responsibilities:

The candidate will work with the small team of employees They will be doing job data changes, report writing for hr, securities changes, backfill for functional user roles, employee changes, all under peoplesoft HR. The candidate will need strong experience in security changes, job data experience, strong experience in report writing for HR and needs an understanding of how implementation of these changes fits into peoplesoft.

 

They need a candidate who can come in and hit the ground running with day to day tasks and support. Most of their work will be doing day to day production support within the above modules. They might do some work on the existing configuration but they will be brought on primarily to do support work so they must be comfortable doing this type of work.

 

This person will be working with the end users so they must have perfect communication skills and must be comfortable picking up the phones to engage with the end users.

 

This person will need to help with new vendor interfaces as well as outbound and directional interfaces. They will also be doing a lot of UAT Testing

 

While this role will be 100% functional, they do like candidates who are techno-functional. The consultant can come from a technical background, but should have worked in a functional role in their last several projects. This person will not be taking part in the implementation project at all, so must be comfortable working in a 100% support role for the extent of this project.

 

Day to day tasks will include:

PeopleSoft HCM / HRIS experience

Running and monitoring daily manual processes between PeopleSoft and third-party applications for accuracy, such as Kronos.

Running/processing queries

Performing PTO assessment and audits as needed by users.

Assisting in new hire administration and audits.

Organizational changes as needed by business users

Updates to employee information such as tax and licensing information
