PeopleSoft Variable Pay Expert

 

Background: This client runs PeopleSoft as their HR system. They are live on HCM v9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55. They are looking to Implement a Bonus Program, which has never been done before at this client. This Bonus Program will be implemented in Variable Pay within PeopleSoft Compensation.

 

Project: This resource will be responsible for implementing a Bonus Program. This is unprecedented at this client, as they have never given out bonuses to employees in the past. Therefore, their in-house team is unsure of how to implement this within PeopleSoft.

 

This expert needs to have done market analysis, compensation for hourly vs salaried, salary grades, ranges, what the market can bare, etc.  The person will do data collection, analysis, and monitoring of data to identify business needs, perform trend calculations, and provide recommendations and consultation which guides decisions. As a Comp expert on the PeopleSoft side of things they will need to understand the module, the setup, limitations it comes with, the rules of how the compensation module works.  This role needs someone who knows the delivered functionality and ability of PeopleSoft Compensation and what it is capable of handling and accounting for.

 

This resource must have implemented Variable Pay in the past and speak to their experiences doing so. They will be asked to provide guidance to this client and offer their knowledge as it relates to best practices. They will also be required to train the in-house team and end users.

  • PeopleSoft Compensation Expert
  • PeopleSoft Functional Expert – v.9.2
  • Variable Pay Implementation Experience
  • End User Training
  • Good Communication Skills
