SAP Project Manager
Project Manager – SAP/IT, Finance, Supply Chain, LE, Purchasing
Overview: The client is large organization that has recently split from its former parent company and has an immediate need for a project manager to work closely with the client’ s SVP Customer Solutions as well as Integration Management on multiple integration projects spanning SAP/IT, Finance, Supply Chain,, Logistics, small portion of Purchasing, etc.
Project Description: The project manager would be responsible for keeping multiple projects organized and on track, creating and maintaining a project plan, taking the initiative to set up meetings/follow-up on tasks/etc. The skillset they require is an experienced project manager, who has run large projects and has significant experience creating project plans in MS Project. He/she will be tasked with project planning including the definition of scope, approach & deliverables, coordinating activities with the business, project teams, monitoring progress, mitigating risk, and ultimately ensuring the successful delivery of the client’ s various initiatives.
The consultant hired should come from both a business process and IT background as the range of projects is not limited to simply SAP/IT and will require someone who has the ability to organize overall projects for both the IT and business throughout the duration of the contract.
- Project or Program Management: 10+ years
- Strong business acumen across Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Purchasing; in addition to SAP/IT
- Significant experience creating project plans in MS Project
