Systems Engineer 

Candidates MUST HAVE a TS/SCI and Polygraph in order to be considered.

Our client is working on a program that is working major custom development work around custom made systems that are component driven.  These components systems have virus scanning capabilities, data transformation, reporting, even some minor front end development work that need to be done.  This wave of openings is seeking people willing to grow and learn on Data Ingestion and future Cloud technology (big data, Hadoop, MS SQL, ETL) and other highly customized tools for the customer.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

This person will come in and support a number of great technologies and technology organization. They will be providing and receiving very fast turn arounds for data feeds for technologies that will soon feed into a cloud-based platform as they transform data and systems. This person will have a strong Systems Engineering background and will be exposed daily to Cyber, Big Data, Hadoop, and will focused on a Windows Dominant system. At a high level this person will define the work that is going to be performed based on the customers wants and needs and expectation. At a lower level, they will be migrating existing dataflows into new cloud platforms. This person will be engineering a lot of the technology and working to provide the data so that is can feed and ingest via Megabytes and Petabytes.    This is an Agile Environment.

Required:
  • Systems experience with integration and ingestion of Data (MySQL, ETL)
  • Systems Integration experience
  • Migration experience from old systems to new
  • Architecture for high level opening
  • ETL knowledge or hands on experience preferred
  • Knowledge of data transformation understanding how it works, and creating the blueprint for it.
