Program Description:

Our client is prime on a program that is responsible for providing SIGINT capabilities . The effort supports all aspects of the systems lifecycle to include systems definition, design, planning, integration, test, deployment, sustainment, and retirement. The team is looking to add a Technical Analyst to their team immediately.

  Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The System Administrator will be responsible for working on Windows systems and providing in depth experience in troubleshooting Windows Server 2012. They will configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software. They will also troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. The administrator will provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Provides support for the dispatched system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
  • Configures and manages Linux operating systems and installs/loads OS software
  • Provides detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network device
  • Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
  • Manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
  • Provides assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
  • Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process

  • BS (technical) + ten (10) years system administration experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.  Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor' s degree.
  • Must have Windows Server 2012 experience
  • Basic understanding of Linux
