Workday Financials PM 


Background: Client is going to be starting their Workday Global Financials Implementation and are at a point where they are looking to bring on a Financials Project Manager to lead the way. They are live with the HCM suite but have not implemented Financials and therefore that is their next priority. There go-live for the Financials module is expected for Jan 1, 2019. They have not yet selected the WD partner they will have assist with the implementation but know that they want an independent consultant to lead the team and ensure a successful project.

Project: This person will be a Financials expert whose daily duties will consist of scoping, requirements gathering, configuration, guidance on decision making and overall suggestions and solutions along the way. It is crucial that this person has performed multiple Workday Financial implementations before and is comfortable and able to lead a team, along with providing knowledge transfer throughout. The areas of Financials that will be focused on are GL, Billing (Very important), Consolidation, Procurement, Projects, Budgeting & Forecasting, Planning, and Expenses. This person must also have experience with Current State Documentation.
