Workday HCM Implementation Integration Advisor


Project Description:

Our client is in the process of implementing Workday HCM globally. They are roughly 1 year away from go live, and they’ ve recognized that they’ ll need to expand the bandwidth of their implementation integration team to ensure a successful implementation. They have a team of full-time employees, consultants, system integrators, and off shore resources working on this project right now. At this point in the project, the client has identified they need a resource from their side to advise the team, ask the implementation partner why they have done certain things, and explain this to the team internally. This role will be a client side advocate and advisor, this is not a hands on/head down development role.


Our consultant will work alongside the FTEs to advise on best practices, help with requirement gathering, scheduling, volume, and work on system integration design.


Day to Day:

This role is client facing. To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable working with the client team to turn over information to the implementation partner. This person should have enough experience to poke holes in the integrator’ s plans but also be a partner to them. Most of your work will revolve around preparing inbound integrations to Workday. This role does not require you to develop any integrations from scratch, but you will need to be comfortable understanding current state vs. future state, the downstream effects of what’ s being integrated, and confidence that you can articulate this information to the client team who may be lacking Workday experience.


To be successful in this role you will need experience acting as a client-side liaison to help support integration build for a PeopleSoft to Workday implementation leading the knowledge transfer. This is an advisory role focused on analysis and evaluation. You will need experience with Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Recruiting.
