Workday Payroll Business Analyst (year end processes)

Project Description: Our client went live with Workday Payroll (U.S and Canada), Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting for 20, 000 associates in phases throughout 2016.

This year our clients payroll team is needing assistance with yearend activities.

Day to Day Responsibilities:  This Workday Payroll business analyst will come in to assess the processes for reconciliation, payroll end, and year end. This person should have an expert understanding of Payroll to GL processes and the reconciliation processes. They will assist with tying up taces, working with the accounting team, payroll team, and technical teams and supervising year end tasks. This person should be comfortable leading some initiatives. The will help with eligibility rules in Workday as well as setting up and scheduling reports.  

This role will have NO configuration involved. This person must be an excellent communicator, be an expert creating documentation, and be an expert in Workday Payroll business processes.

Required skills

Workday Payroll experience 3+ years

EXPERT with process mapping

Expert with Year end payroll activities

5+ Years Business Analyst

EXPERT understanding of Workday Payroll business processes

Understanding of Payroll to GL reconciliation process

Expert understanding of end to end payroll process

Expert with documentation

Ability to speak with accounting, payroll, and technical teams to ask right questions
