                                            Workday Recruiting Project Manager

Project Description:
The client is seeking a senior level professional who understands both Technical and Business to act as a Project Manager to the client' s Workday Recruiting implementation project. This candidate must be familiar with implementing Workday cloud solutions in a highly matrixed environment. This position requires an individual who has significant experience in partnering with 3rd party System Implementers (SI’ s), IT teams and business functions to understand business requirements and deploying solutions that bring rapid value to the customer community.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

The client has implemented Workday Core, Payroll for US/PR, Advanced Compensation and Talent/Performance functionality globally across 60+ countries and 8 languages. The WD Recruiting project manager must be an experienced Workday project manager that has implemented Workday Recruiting as a phase 2 for a large global company. 
This role will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of Workday Recruiting by 
• Partnering with the selected system implementer project manager/team to plan the project 
• Ensure adherence of the client' s Workday guided principles throughout the project 
• Creation of Scope, Key Deliverables, Key Milestones, Work Schedule, and Resource plan. 
• Facilitating cross-work stream collaboration to identify inter-dependencies, project requirements and risks, while maintaining open lines of communication throughout the project. 
• Providing direction and support to project team members across work streams. 
• Presenting project progress, issues, risks, mitigation strategies to project team and leadership 
• Management of project financials 
Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of 
o Implementing Workday Recruiting as a phase 2 
o Workday tenant management 
o Workday conversion methodology 
o Workday Integrations/APIs 
o Workday testing 
o Workday deployment requirements 
o Workday translations 
• Understanding of Workday Business Processes and Business Applications for HCM Core and Recruiting 

• Working knowledge of Global Recruiting 
• Working knowledge of Change Management 
• Working with Workday’ s Delivery Assurance team 
Education and/or Experience 
• Excellent verbal and written skills 
• 3+ years’ experience project manager for Workday Recruiting implementations 
• 3+ years’ experience in leading cross-functional, global teams. 
• 4+ years’ experience in supporting Human Resources Recruiting or Recruiting projects/programs 

• PMP Certification 
• Knowledge of Taleo to Workday conversion projects 
• Past experience with global healthcare/manufactoring companies
